When I made the decision to shift away from my open-edition work last year, I found myself in the fortunate position of having a studio calendar packed with projects. Recognizing the importance of broadening my artistic horizons, I felt compelled to venture beyond the confines of my studio and immerse myself in the study of historic stained glass works firsthand. Seizing a fleeting moment of opportunity last month, I embarked on a serendipitous journey to Vienna for a week.

This recent trip has been a wellspring of inspiration, profoundly influencing the direction of my current studio endeavors. I returned home to a series of exciting meetings with designers and clients, mapping out the trajectory of forthcoming projects. Since then, I've been steadfastly engaged in the design process, channeling the creative energy ignited by my travels into each new creation.

Upon my return, I had the privilege of attending an exclusive showing of Barbora Žilinskaitė's exhibit, curated by Freidman Benda, set against the backdrop of a home just up the street from Chateau Marmont. The surrealistic ambiance of the artwork mirrored my jet-lagged perception of LA, creating an intriguing parallel between art and reality.
