LA DESIGN WEEKEND

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended the inaugural art opening for LA Design Weekend last month. The turnout was simply phenomenal, and I was truly blown away by the enthusiasm and support.

We are thrilled to have received glowing write-ups from esteemed publications such as AD Pro, Sight Unseen and Azure Magazine. If you missed experiencing MIND MELD in person, you can catch glimpses from the opening night here!

TRAYS FOR DAYS

SNEAK PEAK

The evolution of my studio's operations has been transformative. The days of constant production for my open edition line have given way to extended periods devoted to bespoke client designs, meticulous glass sourcing, and large-scale fabrication. With this shift in focus, I thought it would be exciting to share a glimpse of a new project I'm working on, along with the various design options I've created.

Each design holds a special place in my heart, so much so that I plan to fabricate any pieces that the client ultimately decides against. If any of these designs capture your interest, please reach out, and I would be delighted to customize one just for you.

WATERCOLORS

Despite the challenges of a malfunctioning kiln, my creative journey has taken a delightful turn. Following an inspiring introductory plant-based watercolor class a few months ago, I felt compelled to deepen my understanding of this captivating medium. I am now fully immersed in a watercolor class at the McGroarty Arts Center, delving into color theory studies and broadening my understanding of this delicate and expressive art form.

While my past work has primarily focused on acrylic, pastel, and ink paintings, I have never ventured into the realm of watercolors. This new exploration has been an invigorating and joyful way to spend the hot summer days. It has provided a refreshing escape from the heat and a wonderful opportunity to continue my artistic growth, all while staying engaged with upcoming projects.
