Samet Studio Visit

Ilana Kohn, founder and designer of SAMET, came from New York to participate in my Garden Pop Up and photographed me while she was here.

Ilana and I are friends, and most days our conversations are less about work and more about sending each other photos of our cats. Still, I have admired her design language for years. My favorite jacket ever is one of hers, and I own several pieces I have worn continuously over time.

For the shoot, I was thrilled to wear the Mandala outfit from her latest collection. We photographed in the studio and garden, moving between finished work, pieces in process, and the garden I designed and draw much of my inspiration from.
