TRAVELS AND NEW WORK
I am resurfacing after a few weeks in Spain and France celebrating our wedding anniversary. This journey brought me face-to-face with stained glass masterpieces I'd admired in photographs for years, and the experience was transformative.
We journeyed from Barcelona, winding through France into the Basque Country, then all the way west to Pontevedra, before flying to Madrid to complete our trip before heading home. We wandered through historic castles and cathedrals, took dips in the ocean, and indulged in every pastry we could find.
I've returned inspired, invigorated, and diving back into current projects while confirming exciting commissions for 2025. Here's a glimpse into recent studio work and moments from my travels.

UPCYCLED PANEL
Drawing from a curated selection of stained glass pieces in my studio—remnants from my recent work for Prelude Restaurant and a range of past projects, including rare vintage glass acquired from a retired artist—I've crafted a bespoke panel for a bathroom installation.
The piece achieves a sophisticated balance: opaque, textured, and transparent glass components are meticulously arranged to ensure both privacy and an immersive experience with light. When sunlight filters through, the range of glass used casts vibrant, dynamic shadows.
CATS OF CADAQUÉS
We spent a couple of days in the town of Cadaques in Costa Brava and attended the Incadaques Photo Festival. While exploring the town's winding paths, I met a few charming furry locals. These encounters, along with the vibrant coastal energy, will inform a new series of watercolor paintings—a visual memoir of this captivating place.
Late afternoon painting session on the shores of Cadaqués in front of our hotel where I painted until the sun went down.
