WATERCOLORS

I just completed a transformative summer class at McGroarty Arts Center and my dear friend Hallie Goodman sent me a magnificent book on Marc Chagall's Jerusalem Stained Glass while I was taking my class. This book shows Chagall's journey from painting to stained glass and inspired a deeper exploration within my own practice, as I seek to harmonize these two distinct yet profoundly connected artistic expressions.

While my past work has primarily focused on acrylic, pastel, and ink paintings, I have never ventured into the realm of watercolors. This new exploration has been an invigorating and joyful way to spend the hot summer days. It has provided a refreshing escape from the heat and a wonderful opportunity to continue my artistic growth, all while staying engaged with upcoming projects.
